Warranty Policy
Information
Sakai EV provides its esteemed users with Sakai EV-BIKE warranty policy. We strive to provide our users with the best and standard bikes. However, in case of defects due to material or workmanship, we offer warranty to our users to resolve such issues and alleviate their concerns. It is essential to follow the company's recommended procedures for the bike's care and usage to obtain warranty.
Sakai EV-BIKE Warranty Period:
- Battery: 12 months or 15,000 kilometers
- Motor: 18 months or 15,000 kilometers
- All body parts: 6 months or 6,000 kilometers
- Lights / Power switches: 3 months or 3,000 kilometers
NOTE:
- Customers must carefully study the warranty policy and have the dealer stamp and date the warranty card.
- Customers must ensure they regularly service their bike according to the company's recommended schedule to benefit from the warranty.
- If there is any defect in Sakai EV-BIKE, the company is responsible only for replacing parts that are the cause of the defect. In such cases, parts and labor will be free, unless the defect is due to improper use of Sakai electric bike, in which case the company is not bound to claim any defect.
- In case of a defect, it is mandatory to immediately inform the company's recommended mobile app or relevant dealer.
Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not apply in the following cases:
Defects caused by any type of accident, immersion in water, chemical exposure, or any natural disaster.All defects arising from incorrect use or damage due to misuse of the Sakai EV-BIKE.
Parts replaced during routine service such as bulbs, brake pads, nut bolts, rubber parts, tires, charging sockets, and rearview mirror are not covered under warranty.
Modifications or additions of any kind of tools or parts to the Sakai EV-BIKE.
Damage to the surface of paint or chrome parts due to industrial pollution, dust, moisture, or proximity to the sea.
Racing, track racing, or exceeding prescribed weight limits.
Defects caused by scratches on chrome-plated or painted parts.
Defects that arise due to another part's previous malfunction.
Defects caused by changes or additional electrical loads in the electrical system.
Noises or vibrations that do not affect the overall performance of the bike.
Defects arising from storing the Sakai EV-BIKE for an extended period in non-standard conditions.
Replacement or maintenance by anyone other than the company's authorized service dealers.
Defects that are not the result of material defects or human error.
Defects arising from charging the battery with high/low voltage.
Defects arising from the use of any type of battery charger purchased from the market.
If the Sakai EV-BIKE is not used for an extended period, the battery must be charged at least once or twice a month to maintain battery life; otherwise, the company is not responsible for any warranty claim.
The company is not responsible for any type of warranty claim in case the battery does not maintain its life due to insufficient charging.
Defects arising from the presence of moisture, water, or chemicals in the battery.
No warranty claim will be applicable in case of any damage to the appearance of the battery or any part of the battery for any reason.
Note: The final decision to grant warranty claims rests solely with Sakai Ev. Sakai Ev reserves the right to amend or modify the policy without prior notice.
